A small percentage of The Research Libraries' holdings are still only found in the retrospective catalogs of the various subject and language divisions of The Research Libraries. The Research Libraries continue to add records to CATNYP that are currently only available in the book catalogs or as printed cards. It is advisable to search the appropriate book catalog if no record is found, particularly for works published before 1972. For assistance, please ask a Research Libraries Reference Librarian.
